I’m bringing Encinitas property owners and neighbors together to document concerns, ask clear questions, and work toward fair, consistent treatment.
Encinitas Owners United is an independent community initiative, unaffiliated with the City of Encinitas. We welcome property owners, short-term rental owners, and neighbors who support a clear, consistent, and accountable process. We are in the founding stage; no nonprofit or tax-deductible status is claimed.
What we’re working toward.
- Clear, written explanations of property rules and enforcement decisions.
- Consistent standards and a transparent process for reviewing concerns.
- Meaningful community participation before policy changes.
Our approach is to gather firsthand experiences, review supporting information, agree on specific requests, and participate constructively. A submitted account is a person’s report, not an independently verified finding.

How the group runs
The organizer team reviews new members and experiences, moderates discussions, tracks follow-up, and publishes actions and progress on the community board. Members choose whether to receive email updates and whether their experiences may be used publicly.
